How JetBio handles personal information.
This notice explains how JetBio Ltd uses personal information when you contact us, submit an enquiry, work with us or use this website. Last updated 2 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your information?
JetBio Ltd, company number 14744212, is the controller for information collected through this website and its internal CRM. Our registered office is C/O Blu Sky Chartered Accountants, Ye Olde Hundred, 69 Church Way, North Shields, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE29 0AE, UK.
For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email kris@jet-bio.com, write to our registered office, or use our contact form.
What information do we collect?
When you contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email address, organisation, role, enquiry type, project requirements and message. We also keep relevant correspondence and records of our relationship. Please do not send patient-identifiable, health, special-category or confidential proprietary information through the website.
Our hosting and email services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times and delivery information to operate and protect the service. The form uses validation, a hidden anti-spam field and a temporary rate-limit record derived from the submitting IP address.
Why do we use your information?
We use enquiry and CRM information to respond to you, assess project suitability, arrange discussions and manage research or commercial relationships. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and maintaining relevant business relationships. Where we need information to take steps at your request towards a contract with you, or fulfil that contract, we rely on contractual necessity. We may also process records to meet legal obligations.
We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure service for necessary technical and anti-spam processing. Cookie and browser-storage information is explained in our cookie policy.
Optional website analytics
If you accept analytics in Cookie settings, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources and use of the website. Google processes cookie identifiers and technical visit information, such as the page address, browser, device and approximate location, to provide these reports. Our lawful basis for this optional processing is your consent. Google Analytics is not loaded before you accept it.
Advertising features and automatic form tracking are disabled. We do not send enquiry-field contents to Google Analytics, and our tag removes query strings and fragments from the page and referring-page addresses. You can refuse analytics without affecting the website or form, and withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops further analytics on this browser and removes its accessible Analytics cookies. Data already collected is not automatically deleted by changing the setting; contact us about your data-protection rights.
Email updates and your choice
The enquiry form includes a separate, optional checkbox for occasional JetBio email updates about our technology, research and company news. It is not selected by default. Leaving it unchecked does not affect your enquiry.
Where you choose updates, we rely on your consent for those emails and record your choice with the enquiry, the date and the privacy-policy version in our enquiry notification. JetBio maintains these preferences in its internal CRM. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to an update or emailing kris@jet-bio.com. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Necessary replies about your enquiry or an ongoing project are separate from marketing updates.
Who receives your information?
Website enquiries are delivered to the JetBio team by email and may be entered into our internal, local CRM. JetBio does not share them with external CRM companies, research partners or other organisations for their own marketing. Our hosting and email providers process information as needed to operate and deliver the service. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.
Google is also a service provider for optional website analytics. Analytics data may be processed outside the UK. Google's data-processing terms describe its processing arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards. You can read Google's privacy policy for further information. Other hosting and email providers may also process information outside the UK; contact us for details of applicable locations and safeguards.
How long is information kept?
We keep enquiry and CRM records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or manage the resulting relationship. The retention period depends on whether it becomes a project or customer relationship and whether records are needed for legal obligations or disputes. We review inactive records against those purposes.
Email-update preferences are retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only the minimum suppression information needed to respect that request. Technical and anti-spam records are kept only as needed for security and service operation.
Our Analytics property retains user and event data for two months. Aggregated reports may be available for longer. Your saved cookie choice and Analytics cookies last for up to 180 days, as described in our cookie policy.
What are your rights?
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive portable information where that right applies. You can object to direct marketing at any time and withdraw consent for updates. Contact us using the details above; we may need to verify your identity.
Please contact us if you have a concern about how we use your information. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies, external links and changes
Google Analytics is optional and requires your consent. We do not use advertising trackers. The cookie settings control and browser storage are described in our cookie policy. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy and cookie policies. We will update this notice if our processing changes, and provide new choices before introducing optional tracking.
